Alongside my reporting, I’ve held a variety of other roles (as is the life of a freelancer!). Those include:

Currently, I am working on a contract-basis as a breaking news reporter for The Guardian, where I write for the US politics blog and cover breaking news headlines across the US.

I have provided fact-checking services to Bold Type Books, for work on three nonfiction books; Insider, for research work on a Congressional finance data journalism project and Deaths in the Family series; The New York Times Licensing Group, for work on the Opinion Section’s “World Review,” “Turning Points,” and “The Big Ideas” series; and independent authors.

I served as an associate editor at Stranger’s Guide magazine from February 2020 to June 2023, where I managed the magazine’s website, social media, and newsletter.

I worked as an editor and writer for the Latin America News Dispatch, which publishes a newsletter in collaboration with LatinoUSA, from September 2018 to May 2020.
